Bike of the Month.
01 Jun 2015 07:38 - 01 Jun 2015 07:58
Good June 1rst Morning KZR
AS promised the KZR administration Team has posted on the home page the JUNE Bike Of The Month
Congratulations to our June Winner 650 ed    :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :silly: :silly:
Ed and his 650 , What can you say other than if a perfectly preserved 1977 KZ650-C1 is your favorite bike , than here it is !!!!
Ed has owned the bike since new and it was love or lust at first site. Going from a 1963 highly modified BSA 350 with a 500 engine to the 650 was Like he died and went to heaven.
Eds 650 currently has about 57 thousand miles on it and has never needed any major repairs or rebuilds as the cylinder head has never even been removed. As most of us member s here know Ed does all his own work and is a believer in stock is how its going to be, and all work is performed to our bibles , The factory Service Manual..
Few changes have been done to Eds bike. They include Hagon shocks, tapered steering stem bearings ,a chrome chain guard and a Fiamm horn which he has hidden ..
Ed has ridden a number of other motorcycles over the years but none have taken his heart away from his 650 and he plans on riding it until he can no longer ride. Kinda brings tears to my eyes :pinch:
So please join me in congratulating Ed and his 650 as our June , 2015 Bike Of The Month !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations Ed!
I particularly like the dual platters up front. Have you ever felt that the rear brake is too powerful?
