Anyone know a link to a Kawasaki Mean Streak forum ? My Son just bought the 2007 Meanstrak 1600 cc and it fell over yesterday and dented the tank,
After a few choice words ( none of which were merry Christmas ) and some flaming of the gremblins . He decieded to take the tank in for repair and painted flat black to the tune of $600.00 Or he can buy a new one from the stealership Flat black with the flames for $1300.00 ( orig colour)
So right now hes just looking to see what involved in removal .
Thanks in advance ...Scrapper

If there are no creases in the metal you might be able to pull the dent using a suction cup. I got a two inch diameter suction cup at Princess Auto for a couple of $ and it worked a treat. The dent I pulled was about 4 inch in diameter and had no creases. I have a couple of smaller dents and was thinking of trying the dry ice trick www.wisebread.com/remove-car-dents-quickly-and-cheaply .....if only I could find ry ice.

Jr !! Man i had forgotten all about the dry ice trick , rthanks ,
We tried a dent king that worked fine on the car , and another brnd of puller and both faired about the same results ( dent's still there )
They put some good metal in these kaw tanks ,
I tried to get some dry ice once for a fog effect for a band I belonged to and they said i needed a licience or special permit or something , because it was dangerous stuff and you could freeze your fingers and snap them off like dry twigs if not used properly

KZCSI- Thanks for the link , Hes's checking it out as i type .,
I keep you guys posted on the results as they develop,
...... Doug

Update """: Well the New tank with all the decals magically transform from $1300 .00 to $5.00 shy of $1500.00 canadian:ohmy:
But Being its a special ed bike and each dealership are only allowed to have one , and can't get another till the next year they come out (if they make another ) But IMHO its still apretty darn pricey for a hunk of metal and some flame decals
But to make a long story short My son rec a call the tank is in , come pick it up , so he puting it on tomorrow .
By the way heres a link to what the bike looks like .

I liked those bikes a lot when I first saw the pictures on the Kaw website but now that I've seen them in real life I don't like the look nearly as much (no offense :P). Still nice bikes tho ;)

No offence taken Tim " to each his own " i always say . It would be a pretty dull world if we all liked things the same eh?  :S  ;)
