That reminds me, my dad tried that with a canoe he bought after buying a kayak and three boats that took over the entire driveway. Mom was not pleased, not pleased at all. Heck, I think she was mad after the second boat.

You could purchase the Z1R and squeeze that big 1000cc motor in your project bike, sell me the titled Z1R frame  and sell the remaining parts on ebay. This way you'd probably make some money off the deal.

My buddy had an old 650 frame with a 1000 motor stuffed into it. That bike was awesome. I miss that thing. We used to have longest burnout contests between that and my old CB 750 in front of my moms house. That is where I first learned of the term "white-trash"   :pinch:

It has been sealed for 11 years now and still looks the same. All I can tell you is be light on the engine sealer, clean all gasket surfaces with light detergent (soap and water) NOT brake clean or solvent. Oh yeh foamy engine bright takes the stains away too. Thank you.:)

I didn't even know you could seal an engine. I would have thought that sealing it would make it run hot but evidently not since you've had it that way for 11 years.

Thanks for the tips. I have some leaks above the gaskets that need to be fixed before I clean anything otherwise it will be a wasted effort.

Can anyone recommend a particular engine sealer or do they all mostly do the same thing?

The engine is not seaked in a way of spraying that sealer they have in a can all over the block. I mean that it has not been opened up in 11 years...
I use copper rtv or ultra black. I stay away from silicone base sealers, because the silicone will expand in oil and fuel.
