I've been riding this short wheel base recumbent for the last two years. I had noticed that I was getting better at ultra lowspeed maneuvers on the Valkyrie but didn't realize till this week that the two may just be related.

Now I understand why these recumbent haven't taken over, The balance is a real challenge! This thing is a gass to ride.

Hi Duck,
It's a "Rans" brand recumbent bicycle. To be totally correct it's a short wheel base model. It weighs 34 pounds. AS setup from the factory the steering is way too quick. I slowed it down by fitting a front fork from a mountain bike.

Because it's a recumbent it's expensive, over 2G's new but I found this one on Craig's list for $700.00. It's a couple of years old but had hardly been ridden.
