I know it's a pretty junky 650, but is that (part of) a Rickman fairing on it?

It looks like it could be RSTNICK would be the man to ask as he has one on his bike. There is some sort of tag still attached to the inside above the headlight maybe ask the seller what it says.

Were you going to bid on it? It is about 45 miles from me, I might bid if it doesn't go for too much.

Doesn't look like a Rickman fairing. It has storage compartments in it. I've never seen a Rickman, which was mainly a racing fairing, having any storage.

Never seen anything like it before. Maybe Dunstall, Hannigan or other.

I bid on it, it's only about 20 miles from me. Been in storage since '82 which only gives 4 years of riding. I'd like it for spare engine and the Kerker would pay for entire purchase price on ebay. I've been out bid but will think about it. At least no shipping charges!

I agree with Rob. Although it looks like one, I don't ever recall seeing a Rickman with storage pockets.

I bid on it (3rd bid placed) and was outbid right away as well.
I'm interested in it for the same stuff Bluemeanie is, except I'd also want the fairing.
If the bidding doesn't become to outragious, maybe Bluemeanie and I can pool our KZ funds together and divide up the "spoils" if we should happen to win it.

It's not a Rickman, it's the top part of an old Vesco fairing, mostly popular on BMWs for touring back in the day.

It is a KZ650 SR model..late 78 or 79.Triple drilled rotors, Note the shape of the tank, the way the seat curves up slightly. Front fender is chrome most likely NOT original,SRs usually have fenders matching the tbody colors.. No duckbill tail piece which is an SR thing. Also I emailed the seller and the VIN is a KZ650 "D" model.
