obviously daytona is close, but i'm about 125 miles north, right near the georgia border. anybody know any shoips in Jacksonville or south georgia? i've got a '78 kz650. Thanks all.

Whats the problem with it Hemlock?

well, last owner only owned it for about 6 months, but left it outside uncovered the whole time and only rode it twice (the week he bought it). i rescued it for $250, because his intention was to just abandon it at his apartment complex when he moved from orlando to jacksonville.

so i have it in my garage now, but dont have time to work on it. i know the carbs probably need at least a solid breakdown/cleaning, if not rebuild. it wont start either...will turn over, but wont fire, even after drain/replace gas and oil.

aesthetically, looks pretty bad from sitting outside, but everything i can see/dismantle looks to be in great shape mechanically, and i know it ran when he bought it at a bike auction in daytona.

basically, i just want a professional to give it a thorough once over, someone that has experience with old kz's.

I wish I was in Florida, not to fix your bike really but to enjoy the climate
