I know the wheel questions have been beat to death but I'm trying to figure out where to spend my few $.

Have...
Z1A with crap rims and spokes. Most of other chrome rusty. Bodywork is original and in good shape if you like original paint with patina. Engine is getting a tear down, new seals, and general inspection/repair/maintenance/cleanup. Might put a set of 1015 jugs/pistons on if the originals are worn past limits.

I'm trying to decide if I should spend $400 or so redoing the wheels or try to find some period alloy wheels or use some kaw wheels cast wheels off a different model.

Plan is to make this my Oahu bike.

Why would you consider anything but Lester wheels for a Z1A???????????
