Hi guys, I posted this in the wanted section, but I don't think those get too many looks. I'm looking for an old Yoshi header and can for my 1976 kz900 . The one with the black header pipe and aluminum can. Looks aren't important, it just can't have dents or holes in it.

If you got one you are willing to part with or know someone who does, shoot me a pm.

Thanks

Barry

Someone's got to have one of these hanging out in their garage or workshop. Anyone? I'm looking for one that basically looks like this.

This isn't going to help you find your part but your request reminded me of a funny story. Back in the late 70's the parts manager of our east side store had a family emergency so I got sent to cover for him for a week or so. The first day I was there this hood rat comes in and says "I wants to order me one of them Joe headers" to which I responded "Huh?" and then he says you know a Joe header, Joe Shimura" I just smiled took his money and placed the order.

:woohoo: Good luck, it took me a while to find one in "good condition" for my 650 on ebay. It was pretty dented up so I ended up getting it for free. I've got the power.

i know a guy who has 2 of them, but im not really happy with him right now.if i can find one in relatively decent shape im gonna grind off all the welds and pull it all apart and use it to make a jig for building them myself:evil: since they are the only header i like more than a kerkerB)
