Picked up a frame for 82 kz1000
Looking to do a 04/05 zx10 front end and wheels with gs1100 swingarm
All hard parts powder coated satin black
Looking into using 03/04 z1000 engine and wiring
Hoping to have it done by spring

So far I have stem bearings and picked up a new seat cover
Bike will use stock tank and body work with aftermarket headlight and taillight

Getting minor things around
Forks
Triples
Radiator
Hoses

Any luck find an engine yet? Hopefully you can find a nice reliable candidate with good compression. Be sure it comes with the carbs, or you will find that will be quite an added expense.

Found a good fab/machine shop locally that's interested in helping me sort out engine mounts and radiator mounts

Got a good deal on a gs swingarm and zx6 rear wheel
Looking at YSS shocks as well
Met with shop last week and guys really cool and interested in helping out
Going to sort out the rear end then get the engine fitted
Waited by fir parts to come in the mail yet and wheel bearings for the zx6 wheel to match the gs axle

Parts will be here for my rear end next week and then I need to find an engine
Sorting out wiring from z1000 main harness to zx6 handle bar switches
Going pretty well, Kawasaki used same color wire for same functions so I'll just have to get proper connectors from cycleterminal.com
Should have a rolling chassis by end of this year
I'll get pics up when I have more to show
Going with the 05-06 zx6 gunmetal color wheels
Should look sharp against the bike colors

Rear end is ready for spacers and upper shock mounts from the fab shop
Got the new bearing, Cush drive rubber and seal for the sprocket carrier
Going with a 525 chain and sprocket since I'll have sprockets leftover for my track bike
Ordered clip ons shocks and front wheel
Waiting on parts again
