Hmmm.

I have to help a friend assemble hi GSXR 1000, that will take two weekends.

Puts us around the first of March. We could bring the bike over and use the bridgeport at work to whittle out some trinkets. I could park the bike next to the bridgeport so we can test fit.

Need to know what kind of damper you plan on using.

That is hard to do without the bike.

A straight
up stabilizer like this would be easiest, but I don't know what the travel needs to be, which of course depends on how and where we mount it.

Mark,

Just sold the track bike. Now the Guzzi will get some laps at Laguna.... oh yeah. You did not think the Guzzi would just sit around did you?

So need to talk you into a day at Laguna. You need a track day photo of the KZ driving down the corkscrew.

While I have not said much further here about the Z1B it is alive and well. It now has about 3500 miles .
I noticed the heat shields around the oil cooker lines were melting and it concerned me that perhaps the cooler was actually heating the oil.
I decided to re route them and while I was at it I thought a different look for the header was also in order. I did it in bright silver.
For the future it will still get a Corbin seat and a damper.

Anyone have any leads for a new speedo/tach assembly?
I have a new one however both are failing big time.
I found an OEM one. However it is not in perfect condition.
Thanks for the help.

MAR,

How are things, how is the bike?

The GSXR in a few of these photos is now mine. The owner decided to give it to me, very generous of him. I now have another custom to ride.
