It was really a fantastic day. Its the first time the KZ has been out in public, and there were so many compliments, and a few really good constructive suggestions. I am very happy I went.

There were a few guys that really liked the bike, Mike, Tim and Anthony. Plus the steampunk bike builder whose name I cannot recall.

I won an award, so does that make me a bone-ified bike builder now?

On page 11 of this thread you will find the image above. The length if you had them laying on the bench would be a little longer. These are Gsxr 1100 forks, the last year of conventional forks. I think they are 1989 or 90. The cool thing is that you will find the same forks on the newer Bandit, so parts are easy and plentiful.

Thanks so much for the compliments.

We'll I have been trying to find the bike show that is normally held at the Santa Clara county fairgrounds. No luck.

Not sure when the next show is.
How many KZR folks live in the West of Yankee Murica?

If you do, do you know of any shows?

Wow,

Once in a while I go through this thread start to finish.. you forget how much work goes into a project like this.

Thanks for supporting us KZRider!

I have lost so many photo's because of crashed computers, but thanks to this thread, I can review most of them right here.
