Always wanted a 81 J model. Picked this one up in St Louis last September. I attached a before picture and what it looks like now. This was quit a project but was well worth it. Took it out for its maiden voyage last week and the sound from those stock exhaust is like wow. I love it.

My 81 was not quite this bad, it looks and runs much better now! Synched the carbs last night. I have worked REAL hard to keep it stock. Now that it runs well enough for summer (will have to post a thread on KLASMO cam end plugs) I can focus on my 76 B model.
