I posted on the other site but never really introduced myself.
I bought my 1980 KZ440A LTD a few months ago. I haven't riddin in a long time. I use to have a Nighthawk 650 and did some really crazy things on it. Older and wiser now I like this bike very much. And the gas milage is super!
I ride much more carefully now and enjoy just riding back and forth to work on it now. Here in Texas you can ride pretty much all year if you can take the heat.
I posted a picture of it on the other site but I think I'll post one here as well.

I am somewhat familiar with it...I used to singlehandedly support Dudd's and the Chicken...left in 1988 and haven't been back since...my liver is still on display at Dudd's. I currently live SW of Houston...there are a number of forum members from the Houston area, including the Woodlands and Conroe. Is the Kawasaki dealership still in business in Bryan? I bought three bikes there.

Yea, bought my helmet and some plugs there. Action Sports is the dealerships name.
And I left a few body parts at Northgate back in the day as well.
Made allot of changes since then. You should check it out now if you come though town.
