APE KZZone

It seems like the last few times I have gone to APE's KZZone page, one or two more items are no longer available.
Maybe it is tariff or supply chain related, or maybe APE is slowly getting out of the KZ business. Perhaps we should all order whatever we think we may want or need before the rest of it disappears.

I probably still have paper catalogs from APE, Schnitz, Pingel, Fast by Gast, MPS Racing, etc buried in my basement from 20+ years ago before Hayabusa’s were even in showrooms.
I went to KzZone and the Schnitz Racing sites the other day looking for a low profile oil filter cover kit. Pretty sad what is/isn’t available for the Z1/Kz’s now. Only about 10-15% of what they used to have was listed on Schnitz. I guess that is what is called evolution. At least DME bought all of Beasley Composites’ dragbike bodywork patterns.

Webike still lists quite a few goodies, but who knows how long that will last.

I think they have some newer people around. Since Jay passed I think they are trying to figure out a few things. I called about some Z1 transmission bearings and the guy I talked to said they don't carry them anymore. I had purchased some not to long ago. Then no more than a few days later APE called me to ask for a customer if those bearings were a drop in replacement. I responded I thought you weren't stocking them any longer, in which he replied sure we do. So you may want to be persistent. So a lot of those guys probably don't really know the business like jay did. Ya they can make the parts and do the machining just fine.
