Who mentioned a supplement for painful joints lacking cartilage in a post? was created by Gdailey2112
Looked everywhere, can't find it. I'd mentioned that my hands have little to no cartilage in the second knuckles of my thumbs, and someone chimed in with the name of something he's used with success. Who was that masked man? LOL
Thanks!
Thanks!

Back in the late 90s I fell from a telephone pole at work. Landing on my feet, I did some serious damage to my spine. In the early years of my recovery I had spells where I just couldn't move. I literally needed help to get up, down, to the WC. The pain was unbearable.
On one event, I knew the pain was coming and phoned my Mrs. to meet me at the chiropractor, and bring help. It took two people to get me out of the truck. The bone cruncher put me back in line, very carefully and very painfully. Balls, was I sore! My wife and the Doctor got me back in her car, the friend drove the truck and all helped me get back out of the car... Dammit, that was no fun.
I started taking Move Free at some point after the fall and as God is my witness, I haven't had the severe back pain since. Sure my back still hurts most every day, but it hasn't been crippling like that since I started taking the supplement.
Be well & take care of yourself!

Damn! Man that must've been very painful indeed! I can't imagine falling off anything, fairly terrified of heights.
Sounds like I will be going through a newish type of procedure, where the thumb’s carpometacarpal joint is exposed through a 2-inch incision, and then the trapezium is removed in its entirety. Fiberwire is then placed through the incision and anchored at the base of the index finger; it is then brought out through the thumb metacarpal and tied there. This fiberwire prevents the thumb from ever being extended too far backwards, where as beforehand, the trapezium did this. Recovery time is about the same for carpel tunnel surgery.

The best thing I have found for this is oily fish like sardines and Atlantic Mackrell, taste better too.

Man! I"v been there and know what back pains are. Turned 81 yesterday and not a day goes by I'm not reminded of those accidents. I'm a strong believer in fish oils and glucosamines. Keep it up, hopefully the arthritis won't set in, that's when it gets interesting.
