March 14th is Pi Day. Pi is (approximately) 3.1415926, so the date of March 14th = 3/14 = a visual approximation of 3.14 = Pi Day as a joke.

It's the same idea behind 04 May being Star Wars Day: May the 4th be with you.

I'm not sure what gd4now is talking about. Maybe he took it a little too literally. :)

There is a nice motorcycle museum just 20 miles up the highway from my home, with a small restaurant that serves amazing coconut cream pie.  Unfortunately it's still a bit cold to ride, so I'll have to wait another couple of weeks.  Maybe I'll have a double slice on 6.28!
I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

You have to ask for some kind of meat pie (steak/kidney, chicken, etc)
