The rules say: "Stay away from political debates.". The way I see it a civil discussion is different than a contentious debate so I suppose the fate of this thread is up to the members who post in it.

I understand, I am not stating a position on either side, I am merely observing what I am hearing, Reading etc. and wondering if anyone else is hearing these same things, I remember 1968, Chicago and the convention there ( I am sure a Lot of members are too young) I am expressing concern that no matter where your support falls on the scale, this whole thing could easily spiral out of control. I think the fact there seem to be "Bikers" involved is what piqued my interest. I am not taking a position on the political side of it, I am concerned with the "People" side of the equation, I am thinking if it turns violent , it could be a sad day in our history no matter what political party a person supports. I agree that this post is "Risky" and I understand if it becomes Contentious, it should be pulled. Have a good day.
