how much paint? was created by pstrbrc
OK, I need to know about how much paint I'm going to need for my bike. I'm going to use GM Torrid Red.

This is spraygun ready paint, no thinning.
I'm a competent air gun operator, but this will be the first bike I've painted. So, how much will I need?
I have a Vetter Windstar fairing, and a KZ1300 gas tank on an '81 GPz1100, with front fender, sida covers, and tail piece. Anybody got an estimate?

Well it depends on how many coats your putting on. But like btchalice said "1 quart" should be enought for two coats. Don't forget the clear coat to make it nice and shine'e. B)

THanks. Oh, yes, I'll post pics. That is, if the ADD subsides enough to get it done, if the "improvements" that have popped out of my "ACME Manufacturing" brain actually work, if the love of my life (OK, the human one) doesn't get fed up with this, if, if, if...
