Is that a right side fork lower I see on the left side? Bike looks pretty cool. Here is a phrase you will never hear. "Sorry I hit you. I didn't see or hear you coming"
It looks like a left side lower put on the right side.
Kinda looks like they need to be reversed. Sould'nt the caliper be behind the fork when rolling forward?

Great job on the engine. Did you sand it down first? What kind of paint did you use?

77 650 B1 is born like that - single caliper mounted in front of the fork leg. 78 B2 has single caliper mounted behind the front leg, rest of the 650s except for the H (CSR) models have twin calipers mounted behind the fork legs.

I washed the engine with oven cleaner, gave it a real good rinse, let it dry in the sun, and then painted it with Plasticoat Engine Enamel. I glad everyone likes the paint. I agonized for about 6 months over what color I was going to use. Thanks for all the feedback! I'll get more pictures when I get all the parts on it.
