Ok, after about a year, my '77 KZ650 is almost done! Just the headlight, taillight and turn signals away!

It's called Tangelo and it's made by House of Color. I actually got it in spray can form at Walmart of all places. It's got a base coat, color coat, and clear coat. The color coat has a real nice gold pearl in it which you can't really see in that picture because the sun isn't out. I'll try to post a better pic when we get some sun here.

Looks great!
Folks, this man clearly hates polishing aluminum... and he strongly dislikes chrome... :P  ;)
I've never seen fiber wrap on a megaphone before...

Well, almost all of the chrome on this bike was rusted, and the aluminum was very pitted and corroded. The aluminum could have been wet sanded and polished, but I like the blacked out look better. The header wrap is for covering up the badly pitted areas on the megaphone. Also keeps some of the heat away from my leg.

Not bad for a $50 bike I think.

Is that a right side fork lower I see on the left side? Bike looks pretty cool. Here is a phrase you will never hear. "Sorry I hit you. I didn't see or hear you coming"

Both the right and left side lower forks are the same on that bike. I think it's because you could get it with dual disks in the front.

Paint looks great, im surprised the quality of finish you can get out of a spray can.
the look of those tyres scares me though.
