1977 kz650 seat
22 Aug 2006 19:07
does anyone know if this seat will bolt up to a 1981 kz750 ltd frame. I have been told by guys on this site that 81-83 650 csr will work but this seat is a good deal and i would like for it to work but only if no mods are needed.

I don't know, but would wager to guess the chances of it bolting up are less than 1%. Very little ever crosses between model lines, particularly standard to LTD models.
321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

The 650 CSR is not a "standard" 650. It's more like the LTDs, but with spoked wheels. Check the part numbers for each model, they may be the same.
Your heading says 1977 kz650 seat. Those will not fit.
The CSRs came out in the 80s.
