The nice thing about using a local guy is he can form up the foam and you can check it out before he covers it and then make any adjustments you want. That would be a little hard to do if you send it to Sargents.

How in the world do you guys stand looking at those seats? Ick. I'd have to be Stevie Wonder to have one of them. I suppose comfort comes before looks, that's the understatement of the year.
Gosh, what a shocker...

Can get you a quote if interested.
p.s. in PA so at least a bit closer to OH

Yea, if he can make it look like a gunfighter, I'd be interested in a price. Do you have any pictures of his work?
Here's a Suzuki seat he just did... said the camera makes the material look a bit funny. I'll check on cost if your interested.

By the way, if you have a chance to look at your corbin gunfighter, could you please let me know how high it is right at the top of the rise? (from where the rider sits to the top of the backrest before the solo part)
Thanks again

I have a Gunfighter on my 77 1000 and the height you're asking about is 4 3/4 inches on mine. Let me know if I can help with any other dimensions.
Awesome! Thanks for the help! That should give me a real good idea what to ask for. :woohoo:
