Question?

Here's a question: It seems that the left side of my bike is wearing differently then the right side. The side cover emblem and the tank on that side are in much worse shape than on the other side.

Has anyone else noticed this? Any idea why? I can see the side covers (maybe) because I get on and off the left side?

I was just curious if anyone else ever noticed this.

Historically which side sees more sun?

Have you always owned the bike? If not I'd bet the PO parked it for a Loooong time with one exposure. Could have done damage that now's becoming apparent.

Good questions, both of you. I bought the bike in '04 so for the first 24 years, I don't know much about it.

The guy I bought if from had it in a garage. I always have it in the garage at home.

At work I park it facing North, so the Left side gets the afternoon sun.

Guess I've got to think about this one for a while...:huh:

You're making too many left turns. Right turns only from now on!
