Broke off badge screws in gas tank

I'm sure I'm not the only one to deal with this issue but I bought used gas tank for my KZ1000 and the PO broke off the screws that hold the Kawasaki tank badge on.  They are so small I'm finding it nearly impossible to get them out.  Any ideas?
1978 Kawasaki KZ1000
1981 Kawasaki GPZ1100
