Hello gents has anyone had any success stripping por15 tank liner out of a tank without ruining the paintwork and if they have could you tell me how you managed it. Unfortunately mine has started lifting and causing problems and the paintwork is still great,
Many thanks in advance John

You need a strong paint stripper, such as one with methylene chloride, to remove the liner.  This stuff will damage the tank paint pronto, if you get sloppy.  You should use low tack tape all over the outside surface of the tank, to protect the paint.  Don't take anything for granted, and if any stripper hits the tape, clean it immediately.

When stripping, allow the tank to out gas (vent), otherwise pressure inside will pooch the tank sides outward.  Don't ask me how I know this...
