Tank badges
26 Sep 2022 11:51
Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone had managed to put the kawasaki badges back on a tank that had the holes for the screws filled and painted over (PO) ?
I am contemplating gluing the badges with super glu or something but the price of the paint job keeps me from doing this.
Any ideas ?
Cheers

Double sided number plate tap. Won't come off unless you want it too and won't damage the paint when you do want it to come off.

3M VHB tape is the stuff used to attach body side moldings and badges on cars. It comes in various thicknesses and widths. Amazon, among other places, sell it.

I needed this thread too. Just ordered some 3M VHB off eBay for my tank badges. I’ll report back with results.
A breeze from the west.

You can get someone with a vinyl cutter to just cut some decals for you in any color you want....
Lots of ladies use them for labeling team sports helmets for the kids...t-shirt projects.
If you cannot find anyone local PM me and I can cut you one for the cost of vinyl and postage.
I just cut these thorn decals for my helmet...you get some excellent detail.
