1977 KZ650C, needing chain guard was created by Steel Legion
Hey guys, I've got my '77 kz650c. I don't have a chain guard for it. But I would like to get a stainless one for it. Or aluminum. But I have access to numerous manufacturing vendors through my work like bending, laser cutting, hydrojet, etc. If someone has a drawing of a chain guard for one of these bikes that they could give me that would be great. It could be a hand drawing. Or whatever. I can make a CAD .dxf drawing of it to send to our vendors. Bends, and holes locations would be great. But if you don't have location of bends, then I can probably figure that out. Hole locations would be awesome. Thanks.

I own a 1977 KZ650-C1. Below is a picture of the stock chain guard (black) and a chrome aftermarket chain guard (chrome). Both of these fit the bike correctly. I show a rule next to the pictures so you can see the dimensions. The distance between the mounting holes is right around 6 7/8 inches. Ed

Wonderful! Thank you! Would you be able to get me the height difference between the two mounting hole locations. I've tried to do that on my bike and it's very hard to do since the chain is in the way.

And the height and width of the chain guard too. And a height from the bottom of the chain guard to the center of the front hole? Actually bottom of chain guard to center of both holes would be great.

Sorry if im being a bother 650ed. But those brackets also have some bends in them. If it's not to much to ask. Would you possibly be able to get me lengths of each bend section and an approximate angle of the bend? Thanks alot!

Are those bends a 45° degree bend?

I've got this one I could sell if you like.
It won't fit my 650 as the chain guard mounts have been removed from the swing arm.
Best to email me if interested.

Thanks, but I found a 3d model of one to get one laser cut. And with my connections through my work, it will cost me less or nothing at all to get one made.
