I picked these up as spares for my '78 Z1-R. I've never seen this KZ1000D designation on tank emblems before, but that's not saying these aren't legit.
Has anyone in here seen this before? Are they factory, or aftermarket. The emblems on my bike don't have this.
I don't have any reason to believe the emblems on my bike aren't the original pieces that came on it, but I can't be 100% positive they are the originals to my bike.

They are original badges for the small tank.

Cool. These are in pretty nice shape. I’m going to repaint the black on mine with Marhyde trim paint. Any other suggestions on emblem paint for the colors?
