The only place I know of in the USA is Z-Resto. There's another place in the UK, but I'd have to search to find the name. I may have it saved in my motorcycle stuff files. AFAIK, Z-Resto only does the 70s style meters as they only have the press for that size crimp rings.
For the do-it-yourselfer CB750Faces has parts >> crimp rings, glass, gaskets & faceplates.

I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

I've had seven done by Z-Resto. Bob does the best work of anyone I know.

I dont know if this link takes you to the actual post. If not it will take you to the right page and if you scroll down to the bottom somewhere youll find a magazine article on
DIY clock restoration. It worked well for me.

The repros are reported to be junk. possibly made in china. If you consider that you're getting an almost like new meter, ~$200 or so total is a fair price. New from Kawasaki would be at least in the $400 range, if they were available. The meter guts for a ZRX are $400+ each.

Had mine done by RestoZ a few months ago and yes it was expensive, but they turned out great. It would be nice if the process was cheaper but what's the alternative? There was a character on EBAY a few weeks ago that had new OEM gauges for sale for a '76 or so Kawasaki and he was asking well over $1,000.00 for each gauge for the set he had.
The rebuilding cost was a bargain.

A member here is doing a set for me. With his permission his addy is Asphalt900. He has sent me progress photos and I see extreme quality and concern that he is treating these better than his own. I would highly recommend his services. I purchased a few pieces from him for my 900 A4 restoration... Every piece is extremely detailed and high quality

Thanks for the Kudos Mikaw! I can do instruments but at the same time I love to promote the DIY spirit. Got a crappy instrument, what do you have to lose by experimenting and gaining a wealth of information. Example of Mikaw's completed gauges and a Z1R i'm doing just because it was laying around and I got bored this morning. You can purchase replacement faces but if the existing is decent I just clean and on tach faces I re-paint the redline. Investment, scotchtape and a can of paint. The completed one of Mikaws was repainted also. Oh and a Steady hand/patience is required. Lots of other tricks can be applied also for the mechanical aspect. If it doesn't snow too bad today i'll shuffle up to the post office and you'll have them in a jiffy Mikaw.
