I have a local guy (Canton Ohio) do most of my chrome but when I took my valve cover with no pollution humps on to get chromed he said he couldn't do it and make it look good. He recommended a chrome shop in Grafton Ohio but when I got estimate it was $650. Seemed a little pricey (especially for a bike I paid less than 2K for). So with that being said anyone have any recommendations?

We've used Westlund Mfg., but only for steel, never aluminum. They worked wonders on pitted a Z1 grab rail. A friend swears by them, 'cause they will plate rims without obscuring date codes or linishing marks if directed to do so.

Space Coast Plating advertises in the VJMC magazine, but we've not used them.

I sent a 5 spoke wheel to Paul's Chrome and they did an amazing job. They have been featured on MY Classic Car on TV. Here is their address. 90 Pattison St, Evans City, PA 16033 and their phone is (724) 538-3367. Hope this helps
