If you read the text it seems the advertising agency that created the campaign believed potential Kawasaki buyers were country bumpkin types..
As the factory refused to produce enough KZ 900 LTD's to meet demand, they perhaps didn't need to advertise them much.
About 1979 I shared a house with a buddy and he used to keep his Diamond Candy Red 900 LTD in his bedroom. Super chromed out with a Kerker, he took meticulous care of of it.. A few years later he sold it to a hard drinking mutual friend who dumped it hard. I don't know what became of it after that. What a shame.

the 1976 LTD was restored by a customer in Texas. He did the paint himself using a Paintworkz Urethane paint kit and an aftermarket decal kit.

Although this IS a mc forum, don't bikes and girls go together? lol This articles was about 5 years before I was old enough to have a legal dl. By 1979 I had a Suzuki 850DL. Back then I would have one girl on the back during the day ride. I'd drop her off about dark and go pick up a different girl for the night cruise. The crew I rode with would just shake their heads LOL. Those were good times!

Probably in similar condition as the bikes from the 70’s.
