Head Light

I have a 1981 650 SR European model.

I wanted to wash my head light inside today, and the reflector surface went of some places....
So I need a new one....

What shall I do ? just find a identical? or can I by upgrade who is bolt on ?

Yes. It should. That Emgo kit is listed for various Kawasakis, including the KZ750E & KZ650H.
It is my understanding that most KZs have a 7" headlight & they are swappable.

These light has not park light?
I have long & short light and park light.

Maybe I just must remove my parking light?

Yes. If you get the Emgo kit, then you can't have the city/parking light. Otherwise, you'll have to get a used European headlight unit.
Try searching Ebay.UK or the other European EB sites.

Problem with ebay is to know what is quality parts and not.

So its H4 7» I need to search for?

I tried searching EB.UK, but I didn't see much. If you find a new aftermarket headlight, make sure it is 7". I saw some that were 5-3/4", and there may be other sizes. I think the KZ400 has a 6" headlight or approximately 6" and certainly smaller than the 7" headlight.

Some possible searches >> Universal H4 headlight. Universal halogen headlight. Z650 headlight. Z750 headlight. or write headlamp instead of headlight.

Will they be bolt on?

I will not rebuild all eletrical work, so it has to feet the orginal «house».

Here is an inside view. It is plug and play.
