I`m planing to paint my gas tank in Charcoal metallic, but the painter ask about colour code

Any idea?

I found a car on google who are in the "area" I was thinking about.

1981 KZ650-D4, with 1981 z750L engine (Wiensco 810 big bore).

I think it is Gun metal grey, I found a Porsche color code L23F.

That is what I like to do, find a car color I like and go with it, last time it was a Cadillac color.
