GPZ550 rear footrest bracket intrchange 83/84?

I have a 1983 GPZ with the boring triangular footrest brackets. I want to swap it out for the trellis looking ones from the 84. Has anyone been able to determine if these actually fit?

Frames are different and those brackets bolt on differently. Unlikely that they will interchange.
