I`m searching for company's who have or can make seat who will fit my bike 100% so I don`t need to cutting in the frame.

I have a 1981 KZ650-D4 (The SR series of KZ650 was internally known as the Kawasaki KZ650D.)

Do you have company's you can recommend?

Take a KZ650 seat pan and find a "bump" that will fit over the back half. It's a little more work than you want, but it will give you the sturdiest bolt on solution.

For a 'non' bolt on, snug fitting, rustproof job,you can make your own quite cheaply with fiberglass.

Thank you for your input, I think I`m for a rebuild of my original seat.

Do you know about some good company who can build a cafe racer seat with my original base / pan ?

You may discover that the seat shown will not fit a KZ650-D model without modification. Notice the seller states the seat is for a 1977 - '78 KZ650. There were no D models in 1977, so it would seem logical that the seat is intended to fit the B or C models since they were both available in 1977 and '78. The stock B and C model seats do not fit the D model bikes without modification, so this may be true of the seat shown. Ed

Thank you for your feedback.

I have found a person who make a new seat based on the original seat base, so I have delivered it to him.
