Greetings, I'm trying to find a simple touch up paint stick for 1977 KZ 1000 LTD midnight blue paint. Everything I see is a pint or quart. Any helpful ideas? Thanks!

Just acquired a 1977 KZ 1000 LTD after riding Harleys for 30 years. I remembered these bikes back in high school with the Kerker pipe and figured what the heck? A very fun bike!

Theres a company in England that specializes in factory matched paint;

They might be worth a try.

Paintworkz & Colorite motorcycle paint are a couple of other places.
Someone at paintworkz might be able to suggest an available color that's a close match.

When refurbishing my vintage Bridgestone mountain bike, I found a couple of Ford & Honda colors that were pretty similar. I just looked around at the color palettes for various mfgs, but never actually purchased any touch-up. too pricy. hee.

A good paint shop should be able to match it. The paint shop I use has a colour matching camera. It suggests the best match formula and final matching by eye to account for variance, fading etc.

Computer match will give you a metallic car color. I did a color match for that color a few years ago. It is a black base, a silver mid coat flake, and a candy purple topcoat. The tri-coat system makes chip touch ups difficult with a brush. Comes out better if you mask and spray on bigger chips. I can supply smaller quantities.
