No such thing as a perfect paint job, just a big range of different qualities and costs.
Strip light reflections reveal dodgy filler or primer flatting. That looks good . I'd be proud to do that.
Nice work

I really can't bitch too much on the quality of this painter's workmanship. The surface preparation is great. Can't find where the dings, or the dents were!!! Even the dent right over the body line in the tank, you can't tell it was even there. When he was buffing out the clearcoat, he missed two small areas near the bottom of the tank. A piece of the pin stripping is off by about a 1/8 of an inch in one place. The 2nd candy blue top coat seems to be a slightly different color under fluorescent light than under sunlight. Besides that the tank looks great in my eyes.
What I couldn't believe was the variance in price quotes I got from different painters. The lowest I got was 250.00 bucks. The highest I got was 1250.00!!!!! I got more quotes at 350.00, 450.00, 500.00, 725.00, and 900.00!!!!!! Plus two that never emailed me back!!!! I guess some painter's have a hell of a reputation, and can charge what they want to charge. I just wonder if a 1250.00 paint job is that much better than a 500.00 paint job??!!
