I tried the "grabber green", which looks fluorescent on the cap, and if you spray it on thin over white primer, but when I added the second coat, it turned darker and just plain green, almost forest green. I'm glad I didn't try to paint a bike with it.

Absolutely. There was a crotch rocket painted fluorescent orange in the hood. It really stood out and everyone was familiar with the bike, even though we didn't actually know the owner. But within one year, it was faded very badly. The bike was parked outside most of the time. It turned into a pale pastel-orange. Another year later it was a patchy white and pale orange, depending on where the sun hit it the most..

Here you go, if I ride my bike w/o removing cover, paint will be OK. :)
