Eddie Lawson type seat on gpz750 was created by Jrider
I am full of questions today. Bear with me. I am just excited to get my recently purchased GPZ 750 running. I don't think that an actual kz1000r Eddie Lawson seat is a direct swap, correct? So what is a good option for the exact look? can I get an old KZ750 seat pan and scoop out some foam until the profile matches the ELR, then cover it with a replica seat cover? Please help. I have seen this on other GPZ750s

I took my stock GPz seat and a ELR seatcover to an upholsterer and explained what I wanted. It wasn't cheap but here is what I ended up with.

For every day riding I utilize a stock seat as I am over 6 ft and it is more comfortable.
