Kz1000p passenger seat project

I have a 88 kz1000 police bike. The project I want to complete is putting a passenger seat on the bike. I don't believe I want to cut or weld any metal. I believe what I want to do is put a sissy bar on after I take the radio box off of the back. After I get the sissy bar on I should be able to craft a seat that fits the shape of the bike.

I want to know:

1. What is a good sissy bar/ passenger backrest to use on this bike if I was going to use one? It can be from any bike.

2. How would I craft a nice looking seating pad for the back of the bike without cutting The metal?

3. Is this bike capable of supporting a passenger structurally? I am not sure if the rear shocks are in the proper place to support a passenger.

4. How similar are the shocks on this bike to a regular Kz1000 cruiser?

A video that has what I am looking to do is on YouTube. Just search kz1000 police speakers. I am on my phone so I can't figure out how to paste the URL

If you just want to fit a 'Pad',Im sure you can just velcro it on. Or you could replace the whole thing with a CSR/LTD seat or make a complete new seat with a fiberglass base(no metal work involved). You have a world of possability.
Good luck.
