Z1 Gas Tank Painter Recommendation was created by Yorkie
Gas has gotten underneath the paint on my Z1 gas tank and the paint has bubbled. I am looking for a SoCal painter who can reproduce the OEM look. I can get the paint from Paintworkz but I don't really want to spend a grand or so painting the tank. Any recommendations? I am in Long Beach, CA.
Thanks

I know it's pricey but having seen the paintjob on GregZ's 73 Z1 I definately have to say paintworkz is worth the price

Thanks for the suggestion. I've already contacted a couple of the well known guys and was shocked at how much a tank costs to get painted but having done quite a bit of car painting back in my youth I can appreciate the amount of work that goes into a decent job. I might even end up doing this myself as there is no filling to do.
