In need of a tank. was created by Lazyman06
Got my tank back from the radiator shop and had forgotten to check it before I sent to have it cleaned. Seems as though the fire had made it swell quite a bit. The tank stops don't even come close to the holders.

Was thinking of going with a LTD style tank but not sure it's going to fit. Anybody have any experience with this?

Didn't think about that. But I don't want to buy a tank if I'm not sure it's gonna fit :\

You'll be surprised what a dead blow, a 2x4 and a big butt will do :D

I find a lot of Z1 tanks swelled....probably from somebody using compressed air to push out dents. A ratcheting tie down strap wrapped around the tank near the gas cap is a good method for pulling it back in.
