Conversion?

Hi, I'm relatively new to motorcycles and recently picked up a 1983 GPz550 (H2 I believe)
I was curious if it was possible to convert my H2 into looking like a ZX550A?
Thanks in advance

The first picture is my bike, the second is what I'd ideally like to make it look like.

Why? Looks to me like you have an all stock GPZ that will not hold any value, once mod'd. If you really want a 550A, find one and buy it. Could be harder to find the body parts, than a 550A...

Good luck...

Seymore is right. You have a classic bike. Don't mess with its looks unless you want to make it worth less than you paid for it.

I'd be happy to own your GPZ just the way it looks now.

I understand that it's classic and it's relatively stock condition maintains a value, however, I never planned to keep it this way in the first place when I bought it.

I ideally wanted to find a stock ZX550A, but was never able to find that body style in 550 form, only in 750 and 1100. I was thinking of piecing it together from 550, 750 and 1100 panels, if possible.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationDid you not see this? Here's your start!

Honestly, I strongly doubt if 750 or 1100 panels will fit a 550. Totally different measurements/frames/mounting points. Seriously, you'll not get, or have, a ZX550A... even if you find the proper body parts. I would give high marks to continuing your search for a ZX550A.

(not being critical, just honest and down to earth...)
Good luck..

Ah, I did not realize that they were separate frames!
I will probably just wait until a complete/near complete one shows itself.

Thanks!

Yep... keep your eyes open. Patience grasshopper, time and persistence will pay.

So, how much do you want for the GPz?
