I am working on a kz1000p 2001 and am trying to restore. The previous owner put a small seat on which i removed as i am tryjng to put the top box mount back on. It does not match up with anything. Can someone send me photos of how the deck goes back on to theworldofrick@gmail.com i would appreciate any help available.

Welcome Rick... I think you're referring to what is called the "carrier", per MaKawi. See if this PIC helps... (sorry, don't send emails for obvious reasons... but hope you understand)

Where does the 1034 and 92075 part attach? I may be missing that. There is a bracket under the seat that might not be part of tbe original support. I dont see anywhere the holes line up on the flat deck to attach it to the frame or anything.

You ask about 1034. Well there is no 1034 in the diagram. There is 11034. The bolts 130A, only one shown, hold 11034 onto plate 53029. The large hole in 11034 then has grommet 92075A inserted and that slides over the threaded shaft of 11034B. Bolt and washer 92015A and 92022 then secure the threaded shaft of 11034B. There are also parts 92075B. These parts along with shaft 21083 create flexible stand-offs for the back part of plate 53029. There are two of these assemblies, one for each side of plate 53029.

Help?

Nothing lasts, nothing is finished, and nothing is perfect.

Well, had to modify slightly because the original plate isnt there but it is nice and solid. I dont think it looks too bad but am accepting of input.

Looks ummmm, not normal... being slanted to the back. Can you level it better?

There is some angle to it. The photo looks more pronounced than it actually is. The box is fairly level with the running boards. In person it does not look so angled though i am trying to come up with a braket that will take away what is there. I am also thinking of making a backest to bolt to the box
