Blue Paint for KZ200 was created by Tuxedocat
Hey, there are so many good ideas on this forum. I have a 1978 Blue KZ200. I want to remove the small rust marks on tank where paint has chipped, then touch it up. Also thinking of repainting the plastic side panels which are pretty faded and worn, It's been like 36 years! Is there a paint code for that blue? Can a body shop match it up?
Many thanks

To my knowledge Kawasaki never published their paint codes. I would expect a good automotive paint shop to be able to match the color as I don't think the KZ200 paint process was as complicated as some of the larger bikes (some had 4 different coats). Ed

Try ColorRite. They make paint for ALL models of motorcycles. Thats the paint that Kawasaki used to sell to match their bikes a few years back.
Don't know how far they go back, but I got paint for my 1986 GSXR750RG about five years ago from them.
They have a pretty nice website. If not call them.
