Feedback on Z1 Ent replacement seat? was created by richrand
I'm thinking about getting
THIS
seat from Z1. Does anyone have this seat installed and can maybe post a pic of what it looks like? Can anyone speak to its fit and comfort?

I have it on the bike in my avatar and my other Z1. I like it, it's a little stiff but I'm okay with it and have spent some time on it without fatigue. The fit around the tail is a little open but I've grown used to it. Check out Bulldock's bikes, quite a few of them have the exact same seat and they look good even on a full on super bike.

Thanks Les. Your bikes are amazing! I've decided to go with the more OEM style, get a replacement grab rail (mine was removed by PO), and go for a more stock look for my ride.

I love the look of the Z1 Entr. seat. In fact, I designed my own almost 8 years ago. I took a stock bannana seat, cut the foam down a little, then layed some OEM Harley viynl over it, stitched a seam perpindicular to the bike and it looks great! In fact, Today 3-11-14, it was 50 degrees and sunny here in the Buffalo suburbs. Tommorow, the storm of the century again! Winter sucks here in western new york, worst winter in 20 years??
I rubbed mink oil on it and sat it in the sun. It did what I wanted, Warmed it to almost summer hot, the oil sunk in to the threads. It is well preserved. As a matter of fact, here is a pic. sitting back in my cellar.
You should order that seat! Then wait! it will get here somehow! It was done buy a retired master of the seat, "Roberts" upholstery Robert in Tonawanda, NY
