Custom Stem Bolt?

Hey Guys,

Anyone ever find a custom stem bolt for the early KZ's? My '76 KZ900 project bike I need to get a stem bolt that is big enough that I can machine it and press/bond a St. Christopher medal into it. Anyone find a bolt other than stock?

It's fairly easy to make one if you know someone with a lathe that can cut metric threads.

Yeah I could do that on the lathe, but as it turns out, the antique St. Chris medal I got off EBay this weekend appears to be just small enough where I could machine a pocket in the stock bolt and press it in.
