Hey new to the forums, looked around couldn't find much info. I was wondering if anyone here has ever swapped a Z 1100 tank onto a kz750 (1983 ltd shaft). Or if anyone knows if it will work with out to much fab work .

Thanks!

Howdy & welcome!

Look for a tank from a 1982 GPz750, that's what I used on my KZ750-H1 (LTD750).

Guitargeek has a good suggestion. The issue with the GPz1100 fuel tank is that is longer than your current tank...which means that the rear tank mount will not align correctly...which means you will have to move your seat and all it's fittings rearward to accommodate a longer tank. The GPz750 tank is about 5cm shorter than the 1100 tank.
