I got the cobalt blue set as that;s the color of the MKII I used to ride when I worked at Cycle City in the late 70's - early 80's.
Gary from Doremi was a real gentleman to deal with, his price was fair and his packaging awesome.
The red original tin will get pulled this winter and the new blue parts will get put on after I do the top end and find a new pipe for it.
Will probably sell the red tin as a batch. Hopefully someone will want it and help me finance this purchase.

OK, here is what's inside:
These are brand new parts crafted from metal and the latest in polycarbonate. The Doremi company uses the original molds and tank making machinery used by Kawasaki. The paint is flawless. No painter I know (and I know some good ones) could have pulled this off.
They use waterslides just like the originals and clear everything. This is every bit as good as NOS in fact I would say better. I saw lots of original parts back in the day and they were not without orange peel or the odd fisheye.
The tail deck and sides have the Doremi logo stamped and the tank simply has a tiny sticker.
These sets come up occasionally on eBay and can be ordered Japan direct. I bought of eBay quite a while ago at a great price. The parts sat at my US mail drop for several weeks before I could get them picked up.
Very happy camper!

Doremi make some amazing reproductions of older 900 & 1000 tanks and body work. No Z1R though. They seem to only make up stuff in spurts and you sometimes have to wait till the next production run.
As for MKII the currently they only do the 1979 (red / blue) and not the 1980.
Now if I can just find a deal on a Win-McCoy pipe by Bulldock! Have you seen them? They are sick!
