fuel tank cap blew up
01 Oct 2013 19:52
Hey everyone.
I was taking my fuel tank cap apart on my 550 today. Not realizing the locking mechanism was spring loaded, I unscrewed it and all the parts went flying everywhere. Now I can't figure out how to put the parts back together. It's not in my clymer manual or owners manual. Does anyone have a picture of how to set it up? Thanks

I don't have a KZ550 cap, but the link below shows the innards of the KZ650 cap. It may be similar. Ed
